Enhancing and bridging knowledge gaps in Sri Lanka's NDC implementation of AFOLU sector for enhanced transparency framework

By 2020, Sri Lanka is preparing reports to the UNFCCC under the Paris Agreement Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) covering all components identified in Sri Lanka’s Nationally-Determined Contribution (NDC), including strengthened agriculture and land use sector components, inventories of emissions sources and sinks and information necessary to track progress against priority actions in the NDC.
Institutional arrangements coordinating information and data collection from the agriculture and land use sectors into enhanced transparency framework processes and reports enhanced
Best practices on enhanced transparency framework reporting processes, information gathering, system infrastructure, methodologies in the agriculture and land use sectors disseminated to relevant priority sectors (energy, industry and trade, transportation)
Reporting on inventories of emissions sources and sinks and mitigation activities from agriculture and land use sectors strengthened
Monitoring and reporting of NDC priority adaptation actions in the agriculture and land use sectors strengthened
